It's been a while, ain't it. I know this is probably my 3rd time saying this but I'll try to get back to editing here now that summer's begun for me. I'll see if I can get anyone from the Geometry Wars general facebook discussion group to help out.
For the last 8-9 months i've been busy with work and studies to prepare for University. I initially thought that i would have had time to do my other hobbies during that time but working ate up most of my day, that coupled with advanced mathematics and home duties really left little free time.
While i stopped with my edits about the time i started working i have been checking up on the wiki regularly and have been checking most of the things that are done here.
But now i actually have much more free time at the very least til September, probably longer. Which i will spend on getting more back into games and of course, the wiki.
A few weeks ago i also found the thumb drive where i stored my Photoshop images that i made for the wiki, a few of which i haven't even published. I was convinced i had lost it so that made me a little disheartened. Now i'm picking up where i left off.
University is pretty far off for now, so expect frequent happenings from me, i am currently laying the groundwork for our own manual of style so for the sake of having a consistent style across the wiki i will hold off on doing other edits until it's done, which should take a few days.
Good to hear that you have time to work on this wiki. I'll try my hardest to contribute as much as I can since I have all of this free time ahead of me as well. Also, good luck in University when you do get there.
Hey. I just wanted to thank you again for working so hard on this wiki. When I first created it, I never once imagined that it would end up so amazing. Unfortunately, I don't think I will be able to edit articles myself due to time constraints. Nevertheless, I am looking forward to how this wiki will turn out. Once again, thanks.
Thank you for the compliments, it's always nice to have your work validated. I understand completely that you don't have time to edit, i myself has had a lot of work recently but now i'm ready to edit again, the wiki is in good hands and i am not even close to done, there is still much work to do :) Cheers, mate.
Alright nice, there's no pressure though. By the way, what do you think of the main page so far? It took about 2 days of coding to put it all together and i think it was worth it. But it's not done yet, for example, i still have the Co-op section to take care of, and the Multiplayer.
Check out your Admin Dashboard, which can by found by clicking "Admin" on the bottom toolbar -- it has links to all your new tools. Please let me know if you have any questions, and good luck with your new (old) wikia!
Thanks mate, i thought that i might try to add what i can to the wiki since i saw that it hasn't seen any edit activity in a year, and even then it was fairly basic. :)
The only serious problems i can think of on the top of my head is the background and the wiki logo, i could personally create the icon in photoshop, and the background image shouldn't be a problem either. Though i would imagine that i have to recieve Beurecrat rights if i try to change them myself.
Other than that i have already started to add some small pages for now, just to start off, i already have several more planned and will format them properly when i have time, with some work this wiki could be up and running just fine, i plan to keep on editing until i am satisfied with the results. :)
